Why the United States Fought in the Vietnam War
Introduction History is not very clear about the origin and the rational behind the United States involvement in the Vietnam War. However, the blanket story is that the main reason why the United States entangled itself with Vietnam is because of its defense of its political ideology – democracy (Henretta, p. 32).
