Introduction
Members of the LGBT or Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community in 2016 probably are accepted more in society than even a decade ago. A research report published by the Pew Research Center in 2013 showed that over 55% Americans viewed LGBT members favorably which was a rise by almost 20% when compared to 2003. Lesbians were viewed slightly more favorably than gay men – 58% people had a favorable opinion about lesbians while only 55% had a favorable opinion about gay men.
