Abstract
People today are exposed to highly stressful life situations. This challenging scenario raises potential threats to their physical and mental health. Psychological practitioners indicate that increased life stress accounts for a significant percent of mental health problems in the United States. The aim of this paper is to explore different aspects of trauma and stressor related disorders such as Acute Stress Disorder (ASD) and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
