This paper discusses the issue of personal values, personal identity, and challenges that counselors face when engaged in multicultural counseling. The issues are addressed from a personal perspective and experience at work. It gives my personal world views in every category of variables that shape people’s culture. It also describes how my personal values have influenced the way I interact with other people in the society.
