Abstract
Depressive Disorders is an umbrella title for a varied range of disorders that include, major depressive disorder, Bipolar disorder I and II, and dysthymia. Bipolar Disorder is a debilitating condition that has a lifetime prevelance of 1-1.6%. It accounted for a $15.5 billion dollar loss in productivity during the 1990’s in the United States (Soreff 2013).
