Introduction:
“Dementia” defines a clinical syndrome exemplified by long-term decline in mental functional ability, such as waning intellectual abilities, in a conscious individual. The primary symptoms of dementia include loss of memory, decline in cognitive abilities such as learning and comprehension, judgment, communication, and loss of attention and orientation to oneself and time aspects.
