This report acknowledges the various properties associated with plastics and their behaviour when subjected to different conditions of loading. This experiment investigates the mechanical behaviour of five types of polymers which include Silly putty, six pack rings, nylon cable ties, Ply Doh, and Splat Ball. The properties of plastics can be altered to introduce cross-links and thereby introducing constraints to prevent sliding or rotation.
