Abstract
The paper explores the research on the global pilot shortage in aviation, in relation to human resource management on the sector and airport industries affairs as the area of concern. Consequently, it also evaluates how the industry safety is compromised, resulting in few airlines benefiting commercially (Jehn, 2009). Also, it points out the distinct sectors of the airline industry as major carriers and regional affiliates in regard to their individual efficiency on pilot’s employment.
