The purpose/question that needs to be answered is why is the lamp not working.
A reasonable hypothesis would be that the light bulb is burned out. The experiment would be to change the light bulb (with a new one) and turn on the lamp to see if the lamp turns on. For data, one would just observe if the light comes on or not. This type of problem does not lend itself to being graphed. There are no measurements that need to be taken.
