Introduction The United States’ health care system has for a long time been operated and owned by the private sector. In fact, about fifty-eight percent of the community hospitals are accredited to the non-governmental organizations. An average of about 60-65 percent is accounted for from programs such as the Veterans Health Administration, Medicare, Children’s Health Insurance Program and Medicare.
