Abstract
The Southern part of France is well known for the making of wine whose history has been for more than 2600 years. It was introduced by the Romans through viticulture, the cultivation of grape vines. Since then the wine manufacture in France has triumphed due to its demand among the Dutch as well as the English people. Before the revolution in France, the Catholic had the biggest vineyard influencing Rhone and Champagne among others areas in the south.
