Introduction
The purpose of this paper is to compare two research studies--one quantitative and the other qualitative--that concern a particular health issue or an issue that is pertinent to nursing. In each case, the study was chosen that addresses patient satisfaction and how we should measure that. The quantitative study, by Berkowitz (2016), concerns the complexity of measuring patient satisfaction when there is no simple way to go about it.
