Abstract
Special education is about educating students with special needs because of their disabilities, such as speech or vision impairment, autism, and orthopedic issues among others. Their condition does not allow them to progress in the normal classroom environment, and so they need special attention. Over the past 20 years, the legal system has evolved to guarantee the inclusion of children with disabilities in the public school system.
