Abstract
Every health organization has the goal of providing quality, safe, and cost-effective care to patients. Some safety issues reported in hospitals today question the role of the health sector in improving the health outcome of the community. Many hospitals record poor patient outcomes because of the inability of the management to plan duties and changes in shifts between nurses caring for patients in hospital wards.
