Movie Synopsis
Harry Burns (Billy Crystal) and Sally Albright (Meg Ryan) are outsiders who get together for utilitarian reasons: a cross-country auto ride in which they impart gas expenses and driving. She sizes him up as rough and unfeeling; he sees her as guileless and fanatical. When they complete their voyage, they are happy to part ways. However, the auto ride is simply the beginning of their relationship-and the start of a look at male and female correspondence styles.
