Ishtar Gate was built in Babylon in 575 BC, during the reign of Nebuchadnezzar and is a great arch of bricks, covered with bright blue enamel. Arch walls are decorated with sacred animals, dragons and bulls, which the Babylonians considered satellites of the gods.
