Introduction The invasion of Panama occurred in 1989 when the United States of America invaded the place. The invasion of Panama occurred during the presidency of George H. W. Bush Senior. The reason for the invasion was because the President of Panama by then called Manuel Noriega was claimed to be a dictator and was known for drug trafficking.
