Introduction Currently, 27% of total adults above the age of 60 suffer from diabetic conditions (National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, 2016). A majority percentage (Between 90-95%) of this group has type II diabetes. In effect, it is clear that continuous research must be performed diligently and effectively in order to find measures that are aimed at controlling the effects of diabetes amongst this adult group.
