Abstract
Pretend play is one of the avenues through which children get to experience the world at an experiential level . It is through this form of play that the children get to develop key cognitive skills necessary for fully functional adults. Pretend play can take different forms, but the games have common features such as allowing room for children to vent their feelings and emotions while giving their description of actual and fictional objects.
