Introduction
Irritant contact dermatitis results from the exposure of the skin to irritants. The function of the skin is to protect an individual from dehydration, irradiation, mechanical trauma and direct exposure to harmful sensitizing irritant chemicals (Johansen, Frosch and Lepoittevin, 2010).
