Introduction
Hypertension, commonly referred to as high blood pressure, is a medical condition which comprises of incessantly elevated blood pressure in the arteries. Hypertension may cause damage to the organs and several illnesses including renal failure, heart failure, heart attack or stroke. According to (Luehr, Hayes, Johnson & Burke (2012), close to 30% of the adult American (U.S.) population have hypertension. Majority of these people are those over 65 years.
