The world is progressing at a very fast pace. But, crimes like rape hinder this growth sharply. In the world of globalisation and modernisation, cases of rape still exist. Existence of rapes and sexual assaults render discussions of women empowerment meaningless. Studies show that every 40 seconds, a woman is being raped (A world without rape, 2013).
