Abstract
A look at the problems that face the world which include wars, disease, and injustice among others would prompt a re-evaluation of the social system that is in place. It is evident that the system has not led to an overall improvement in humanity. The common underlying factor among the various social ills that face the world today is the adoption of capitalism as the predominant mode of production and social ordering.
