1.0 Introduction
Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) is a type of neuropsychiatric anxiety disorder associated with disabling and irrational obsessions and/ or compulsion. The disorder is usually caused by chemical imbalance in the brain triggered by conscious and un-conscious event in the memory. While obsessions include repetitive, intrusive and unpleasant thoughts, images, fears, doubts and words that can take various forms.
