Research Question The research conducted by Duncan, Wilkerson & England (2003) aimed at investigating the impact of marriage and cohabitation on licit and illicit drug abuse. In order to investigate this issue, the scholars use two theoretical perspectives, namely a cultural framework and a rational choice theory.
