Introduction
The studied muscles on which this report is based make part of the skeletal muscles group; they are connected to the bones by “tough cords of tissue” (NIH 2012) which are called the tendons and, as they contract, they pull these same tendons and the bones attached, causing movement. These movements are of voluntary nature, one being capable of controlling them as one wish to.
