Abstract
European Gypsy moths are regarded as the greatest insect pests in the United States as they have been reported to cause severe damages both to the environment and the economic features. These insects are believed to have emerged from Massachusetts after they were accidentally released by a professor who was doing research on silk production. They later spread across the United States through two different ways.
