Outsourcing is gaining popularity in both the public and the private sector. During the mid-1990s, outsourcing was considered a viable solution to attaining cost control and improving production efficiency (Mani, Barua, & Whinston, 2010). Because of this perception, many companies started incorporating outsourcing in their business strategies and plans.
