Introduction
Tribal courts are a common phenomenon among American Indians/Native Americans. Their existence has been shaped and aligned along the Anglo-styled justice system that is dominant in the United States of America. There is a need to learn and understand the development of the tribal courts as relates to the American Indian approach.
