Abstract
The Biblical teachings on love has in the Old Testament, Song of Songs are misinterpreted and applied wrongly in the Western culture. The Song of Songs asks that we should love our families and not do anything that threatens their happiness. However, the Western Culture does not follow that, people do things that hurt their families. That is the reason divorces and happiness are common in that culture.
