Summerlin is a 22,500-acre master-planned community on the west side of Las Vegas and next to Red Rock canyon National Park (Summerlin, 2016). This property is under development by The Howard Hughes Corporation in multiple phases. Summerlin North lies within the city limit of Las Vegas but Summerlin South lies in the unincorporated Clark County. Summerlin’s population has almost doubled in last 15 years.
