Social discrimination is the unfair treatment or making a preference in courtesy of or against an individual in the society based on either class or group among others (Hogg, 2016). The society is characterized by differences in terms of wealth and power as well as status. The differences in such status and privileges lead to stratification in the society (Hogg, 2016).
