Background
The process of analyzing music pieces and works have for decades been a subject of interest to musicians and music professionals. Understanding a specific piece of music requires an individual to fully understand the piece’s formal structure, gestures, textures and performance cues such as rhythmic cues, (Palmer 1996, p. 446).
